Ruby Mountain Hot Air Inc. was founded to plan and implement the Ruby Mountain Balloon Festival each year.  The balloon festival is held each year on the fourth weekend of September in both Elko and Spring Creek.  Ruby Mountain Hot Air, Inc. is a non-profit organization made up of volunteers that consists of pilots, crew, and other balloon enthusiasts.

The membership is primarily local however we do have members from Oregon, Washington, California, and Arizona.  
Our members participate in ballooning events throughout the year.  If you would be interested in becoming involved and enjoying the excitement that hot air ballooning brings, you are most welcome to join the club.  Membership in the club gives you an opportunity to help with the planning for the balloon festival as well as helping with the actual event in September. It also gives you the chance to become part of a balloon crew and enjoy the sport of ballooning all year long.

We meet the first Monday of every month at 6:30 PM, usually in the meeting room in the restaurant at Gold Dust Casino.
